PRODUCT SOURCING & PURCHASING

Product sourcing & purchasing in China

Turn a product brief into a clear sourcing plan. We help you identify suppliers, compare like-for-like quotations, coordinate samples, and move into purchasing.

Who we help: buyers with a product idea, reference link, sample, or specification who need a sourcing partner in China.

How we help

01

Define the brief

Agree on the product, materials, quantity, packaging, destination, and target timing.

02

Compare your options

Review supplier fit, quoted specifications, order quantities, lead times, and the differences that matter.

03

Coordinate samples

Arrange samples and record your feedback before an order is approved.

04

Follow the purchase

Coordinate the agreed order, production updates, receiving checks, and next steps for shipping.

What you receive

  • A confirmed sourcing brief
  • A supplier and quotation comparison
  • Sample feedback and approval records
  • Order progress and outstanding decisions

What to share with us

  • Product images, links, or specifications
  • Estimated quantity and destination
  • Packaging, customization, and timing requirements

A supplier quote is only useful when the specification is clear.

Two prices can describe very different products. Material grade, dimensions, finish, components, packaging and quantity all affect the offer. We start by helping turn your reference into a brief that suppliers can answer consistently. If a detail is not confirmed, it should remain an open question instead of becoming an assumption.

Compare the whole offer before selecting a supplier.

A lower unit price may come with a larger MOQ, a different material, extra tooling, less packaging or a longer lead time. A comparison should separate product cost from samples, tooling, packaging, inspections and shipping. Record the currency, quote validity and payment milestones, then ask each supplier to resolve missing details.

Use samples to make production requirements concrete.

Review a sample against the brief and record changes in one place: what is approved, what must be revised and which sample or specification version production should follow. A good-looking sample alone does not define packaging, labeling, quantity or the checks required for the finished order.

A practical project checklist

  • Product and material specification, including dimensions and tolerances where relevant
  • Supplier identity, location and stated manufacturing or trading role
  • Unit price at the requested quantity, MOQ and quote validity
  • Sample, tooling, packaging and other separately quoted costs
  • Production timing and the assumptions behind it
  • Unresolved requirements and the next decision needed

Product sourcing questions

Can you help with small orders?

Yes. We regularly work with smaller purchases. Feasibility depends on the product and supplier MOQ. Standard sourcing is 8% of product value, with a minimum service fee of US$100 per project.

Are samples and shipping included?

Samples, shipping, formal inspections, and other additional work are quoted separately. We agree on the scope and fees before paid work begins.

Can I start with a product link rather than a full specification?

Yes. Send the link, quantity and destination. We can help identify which details still need to be defined before comparable quotations are requested.

Can you guarantee the lowest factory price?

No. A sourcing decision should compare specification, supplier fit, quality expectations and total project costs. The cheapest headline price is not always the best option for the order.
